MAJESTIC WALKERS
Training in Quitman, Texas
I began training my horses while I was a teenager after taking many lessons in English, Dressage, Western and Jumping. On any normal afternoon you would find me cleaning stalls and then riding every horse we had. I also began to show some of my horses in pleasure classes.
In my twenties, my parents sold their farm and I began training other customers horses for trail and showing. In 2005 I was offered a position in Kaufman Texas to train horses full time. My husband, my son Collin, and I packed our bags and landed in the great state of Texas.
I worked at Walkers West for 2 years and trained 10-12 horses monthly. I also helped in the sales department fitting the right horse and rider together. Besides training and sales, there were many horse back riding lessons for kids of all ages! In December of 2006, I found myself expecting our daughter Alexis Ann and had to take a break from training for a few months. At which time I traveled for consultations with clients until February of this year. We then moved out to Quitman Texas near a dear friend of mine in 2007 and took a few months off after the baby was born. Needless to say, I am back to work, breaking colts, training problem horses, trail riding, and showing.
